About Us
Nabin is a native of Nepal and was born in a small village in the
west of the country. From the very beginning, village life sensitised
Nabin to healing, energy work and spirituality. Shaman healers,
and Yogis were part of his nurturing community close to the rhythms
of nature, where massage is a daily practice from mothers to their
babies. This environment led Nabin to an interest in the field of
healing through touch and energy work. The opportunity to give shape
to this interest came through Ancient Thai massage initially. Nabin
had always been a keen sports man and knew the value of bodywork
and found he could blend bodywork with the nurturing and healing
practice of this form of massage.
Nabin began his work in this field in the early 1990s and has been
teaching most recently in "The Kathmandu Center of Healing"
which he founded in March of 1997 for the preservation and promotion
of Ancient Thai Massage and the development, instruction and practice
of other healing disciplines.
Through his practice and teaching of this unique form of massage,
Nabin has developed many insights into this technique and while
loyal to the ancient traditional form, he draws on a depth of experience
and understanding, which he shares in his teachings.
His sensitivity to energy, perceptiveness and intuitive approach
are refreshing in his teaching style.
In addition to Ancient Thai Massage, Nabin is a Reiki Master and
offers attunement and healing in Reiki, has many years practice
experience in Meditation and from his personal experience instructs
Yogic practices.
Nabin has traveled combining teaching and study through Asia and
in Europe and was most recently a student of Chaiyuth Priyasith,
the much respected and oldest teacher of Thai Massage in Chang-mai,
Thailand.
Nabin is both founder and director at the "Kathmandu Center
of Healing" and maintains this function when traveling for
further study and to give courses in both Asia and Europe.
Adrienne is Irish and has been living in Nepal since March 1998.

her studies at Trinity College Dublin where she completed a joint
Honours Degree in Economics and Political Science, she always had
an interest in alternative healing methods and their application
and integration into daily living.
Adrienne was introduced toYoga by her Mum at a young age and began
to experience how its practice stimulated and enhanced your energy
field and brought sensitivity, confidence and mental alertness.
Adrienne intensified her yogic practice when she first traveled
to Nepal. Was encouraged by her teachers there to take the course
in Yogic Studies in 1998 at Bihar Yoga Bharati, Munger, India, the

and her many inspirational teachers, Adrienne completed her Yoga
studies with distinction and went on to assist Alakh Shakti at "Shakti
Yoga Healing Center" and then teach at the "Kathmandu
Center of Healing" Kathmandu, Nepal.
Adrienne follows the teachings of her Guru and his Guru Parmahamsa
Satyananda Saraswati, and instructs an integrated path of Yoga focusing
on the practices of Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Mantra. However her
practice is also influenced by the Asana practices of B.K.S Iyengar
and Patabi Jois ( Mysorer Ashtanga Yoga).
A recent Mum, Adrienne now shares the experience of the positive
application of yogic practices during this special time by offering
Yoga for Mums to be and also instructs parents in infant massage.
Adrienne began her study of Ancient Thai Massage in 1998, connecting
with its yogic background. After extended practice, she began teaching
under the guidance of her teacher Nabin and now instructs courses
in both Nepal and Ireland. Adrienne has received instruction in
Zen Shiatsu and the basic principals of Traditional Chinese Medicine
and is also initiated to Reiki Level 2 and practices healing using
